
Crown daisy seasoned with black sesame sauce for moistening your organs
In Japan, crown daisies (shungiku) hit their peak from November to March. At this time, the stems are tender and the aroma is wonderfully fragrant. Ingredients (2 Servings)
1 bunch of Crown daisy
2 tbsp Ground black sesame seeds
1 1/2 tsp Sugar (cane sugar recommended)
1 tsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Olive oil
Method
Step 1 - Combine the ground black sesame seeds, sugar and soy sauce in a bowl and mix.
Step 2 - Boil the crown daisy for 1 minute to 1 minute 20 seconds, then cut them into 5 - 6 cm width.
Step 3 - Add the boiled crown daisy and olive oil into the bowl, and mix gently.
