Spinach and carrot salad with black sesame dressing for nourishing Blood

This is a common Japanese home dish, made with the full of Blood nourishing ingredients, and it tastes very nice with a bowl of simply cooked rice. 
Spinach and carrots are well-known as Blood replenishing vegetables and nutty-flavoured black sesame seeds are also beneficial for nourishing Blood and are known as a superfood for anti-aging.

Ingredients (2 Servings)

1 Bunch spinach
1/2 Carrot
3 tbsp Roasted black sesame seeds
1 tbsp Sugar (Cane sugar recommended)
1 tbsp Soy sauce

Method

Step 1 - Grind the roasted black sesame seeds until coarse powder, then combine with sugar and soy sauce in a bowl.
Step 2 - Wash the spinach and boil them for 30 seconds, then drain and wring out excess water. Cut them as you like.
Step 3 - Shred and boil the carrot for 30 seconds, then drain.
Step 4 - Add the spinach and carrot to the bowl and combine. Serve at room temperature.
