We have many different types of soba noodles in Japan. They are very profound food.
You can choose hot or cold, Juwari soba, Nihachi soba which is made of a combination of 80% buckwheat and 20% flour, or Gowari soba (50% buckwheat)... and more.
100% buckwheat noodles called “Juwari Soba” are a great source for improving your digestive system as buckwheat sends Qi downward and aids your digestive system.
However, they are categorized as cooling food and I suggest avoiding cold Soba noodles if you have symptoms related to the cold.
